President Donald Trump has respectfully declined to fill out a NCAA March Madness Bracket after ESPN reached out and invited him to participate like his predecessor Barack Obama had.
According to a spokesman for the worldwide leader in sports:
“We expressed our interest to the White House in continuing the presidential bracket. They have respectfully declined.”
Obama seemed way too interested in filling out a March Madness bracket every year. He would invite an ESPN camera crew out to the White House and fill out his bracket on camera, explaining most of his picks in detail.
For the average Joe like you and me, March Madness can be pretty important. But the leader of the free world should have more important things to spend his time on.
However, President Trump is still open to collaborating with ESPN on other endeavors. White House Spokeswoman Hope Hicks informs the Washington Post in an email:
“We look forward to working with ESPN on another opportunity in the near future.”
This shouldn’t worry any sports fans out there, Trump is very interested and involved in many different kinds of sports. But, he was elected to be the opposite of Obama and he is so far turning out to be just that.
